Overview
Big Rush, in the Greenvale district, is about 200km by road from the processing hub and is planned as feed for the CIL circuit. It holds a JORC resource of 153,000 oz of gold at 2.61 g/t.
The mine was worked historically by open pit: the Central, Northern, Southern and Sergei pits. About 8,000 oz of gold-bearing ore is already stockpiled on the leach pad.
Only the Central Pit free-gold lode is in the mine plan. The surrounding refractory halo is excluded and untested. Around the mining leases, a 30,000 ha exploration lease hosts nine historical mines.
Highlights
- 85% CIL recovery in a historic production-scale trial: the trial CIL campaign processed 33,000 t @ 11 g/t Au for 10,000 oz recovered
- High-grade intercepts beneath the Central Pit: 32m @ 14.0 g/t Au (BR136) and 19m @ 3.51 g/t Au (BR151)
- About 8,000 oz of gold-bearing ore already stockpiled on the leach pad
- District upside: nine historical mines on the exploration lease, and a rock chip of 26.64 g/t Au at the Mike Anomaly
