Who we are

Great Eastern Gold Limited (ACN 635 973 134) is an unlisted Australian public company. We handle personal information in line with the Australian Privacy Principles in the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth).

What we collect

We collect personal information only when you give it to us:

• Enquiries. If you send us an enquiry through a form on this website: your name, your email address, the kind of enquiry, and your message.
• Email updates. If you ask for email updates: your email address.
• Other contact. If you phone us or write to us: the details you give us.
• Shareholders and investors. If you hold securities in the company: your name, contact details and holding details, and the identification and financial information the law requires us to collect and keep.

You can deal with us without identifying yourself where that is practical, for example by phoning with a general question. We cannot answer an enquiry without a way to reply to you.

What this website does on your device

This website does not use cookies, advertising trackers or visitor analytics.

It keeps one setting in your browser’s own storage, on your device only: the map style you choose on the project map. That setting does not identify you and is not sent to us.

Like every website, ours is delivered by a hosting provider whose servers record technical details of each request, such as the internet address it came from, the browser used and the page asked for. Those records are used to keep the website secure and working.

Other companies

Everything on this website, including its typefaces, is served from our own website: no part of it is loaded from other companies’ servers. Messages and requests for email updates sent through the forms on this website are passed to Web3Forms, a form service, which delivers them to us by email. We link to our LinkedIn page; LinkedIn’s own policy applies there.

How we use and share personal information

We use personal information to reply to your enquiry, to send the updates you asked for, to keep in touch with our shareholders and investors, and to meet our legal obligations.

We do not sell personal information. We share it only with companies that provide services to us (such as email and website hosting), with our professional advisers, and with regulators or others where the law requires or permits it.

Some of those service providers store information outside Australia. Where they do, we take reasonable steps to see that it is handled in line with the Australian Privacy Principles.

Security and how long we keep it

We take reasonable steps to protect personal information from misuse, loss and unauthorised access. We keep it only for as long as we need it for the purposes above or as the law requires, and then delete it or remove the details that identify you.

Access, correction and unsubscribing

You may ask to see the personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to stop sending you updates, by contacting us at the details below. We will respond within a reasonable time.

Complaints
